Alcyon Massive Teams Up With Women Grow for So.O. Launch Party

Women Grow, the nation’s fastest growing business association, is launching a Southern Oregon chapter! The event will be May 5, 2016, at the Ashland Armory.

Everyone is welcome to attend, men included!

The event was organized by Rowshan Reordan of Green Leaf Lab and Kellie White at Ashland Art Glass Studio, and Delia Olsen of THC Factory, these business professionals believe the Southern Oregon area is a key in the cannabis movement, and the business opportunities in the industry abound in the region for women.

“We are excited to have professionals who are part of the cannabis industry, or who want to learn more about the cannabis industry, become members,”  Reordan told OCC. “This part of the state will provide a lot of opportunity.”

Their press release for the event explains:

“Women Grow is a professional networking organization that supports female leaders in all segments of the cannabis industry. Women Grow was created to connect, educate, inspire and empower the next generation of cannabis industry leaders by creating programs, community and events for aspiring and current business executives.”

The event’s Keynote Speaker will be Representative Ann Lininger (D – Lake Oswego), co-chair of the Measure 91 Joint Committee in Salem. She will provide an update on the current rulemaking session, as well as what it means to be a successful professional who also believes in the future of a well-regulated cannabis industry.

Beyond the great networking opportunity, amazing musical guests will be participating in the event: Southern Oregon legend Alcyon Massive and DJ Lachlan. Events will also include a hemp fashion show, contemporary dance performance with aerialists, and a silent auction where a glass pieces from local glassblowers will be given away.

Come out and support Women Grow – Southern Oregon and celebrate Cinco de Mayo! The event will be held at the Ashland Armory at 208 Oak St., Ashland, Oregon, on Thursday, May  th from 6:30 pm to 11 pm. This is a 21-and-over event.  Early bird tickets can be purchased for $25.00 and $40.00 at the door.
